The long-awaited grand opening of the Robert Trent Jones II designed Founders Club course in Sarasota, Florida is scheduled for February 2005. With grow-in of the golf course nearing completion, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. walked the course in late November to place his final touches on the design. Various media representatives and golf club members accompanied Mr. Jones as he described how his design created the "poetry in motion" of the course. "The Founders Club site has yielded a course where the existing wetlands and native oak trees blend seamlessly with the golf course, creating an incredibly natural feel," Jones said.

The Founders Club community occupies 700 acres, but in addition to the golf course will include only 262 exclusive home sites. 200 of the homes will enjoy direct golf course vistas, overlooking this classic Robert Trent Jones II course.
