Robert Trent Jones II, LLC is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of our newest course, The Three Crowns Golf Club in Casper, Wyoming. Three Crowns is our 222nd course and a monument to the ideals that RTJII embodies.
Throughout the years, we have taken great pride in our dedication to the highest ethical standards of design, which include incorporating state of the art environmental techniques such as a closed loop irrigation and drainage system. Our recent experience in Casper on the Three Crowns project represents perhaps the most restored 'brown site' to green golf course in the United States. The former Amoco refinery site was restored with meticulous attention to environmental and strategic golf concerns. The intricate irrigation and drainage engineering of this project has received several national awards. The ground water is not simply monitored but recycled through a bio-remediation process that includes a series of created wetlands that are strategically utilized on the golf course and function as filters for the irrigation and storm water. RTJII is proud to have been involved in the Three Crowns project and we congratulate BP and all the people who made Three Crowns a reality.
