Located in the Brazos Valley 90 minutes from both Houston and Austin and close to Texas A&M University, in the Bryan-College Station community, Miramont Country Club offers a luxurious private golf retreat set neatly within an exclusive residential development. In Italian, “miramont” means “view from the grassy hill.” Here the views encompass 22 golf holes stretching across rolling pastureland amid woodlands, lakes, creeks, ravines, and gentle elevation changes, as well as a 90,000 sq. ft European-style clubhouse designed and built as a legacy to the community.

Course Overview

  • Designer: Robert Trent Jones II
  • Length: 7,127 yards
  • Par: 72 - Rating: 74.9
  • Opened: 2005
  • Current Ranking: 7th best golf venue in Texas (Golf Digest)

Design Philosophy

In designing Miramont, Robert Trent Jones II sought to create a flexible and highly aesthetic course that transitions smoothly from open spaces to intimate woodlands. Our challenges included integrating a system of creeks and 176 housing lots into the overall plan.

Diverse Course Features

Options abound on this tastefully landscaped course featuring Bermuda grass varieties from tees to greens. The ninth hole presents a fine example of a hole that can be played in many different ways. This long, uphill par five allows golfers to choose between threading their second shots through a narrow, wooded neck directly at the green, or playing safely out to an open area to the right. The course also includes two potentially driveable par fours. Water comes into play on thirteen holes.

Strategic Closing Holes

The closing holes were designed to offer players an opportunity to pick up (or possibly lose) strokes at the end of the round if they're willing to take a few risks in exchange for the rewards. Conservative players have the option to finish in a more comfortable manner. Holes at Miramont were also designed with the seasons in mind, so that at different times of the year a switch in the direction of the prevailing wind will make some holes effectively shrink or expand in length. The back tees stretch to approximately 7,100 yards.

World Class Facilities

The club is anchored by a magnificent 93,000-square-foot European-style clubhouse, rated as the sixth-best clubhouse in America and the best in Texas by Club + Resort Business magazine (2021). The facility includes:

  • Golf shop
  • Tennis venue
  • Overnight accommodations
  • Casual dining and drinks
  • Formal dining experiences
  • Resort-style pool
  • Family-focused amenities

Residential Community The course thoughtfully integrates 176 housing lots while maintaining the natural beauty and playability of the layout. The exclusive neighborhoods feature classic architecture and refined aesthetics that complement the club’s prestigious atmosphere.

Legacy Vision “From the moment Mr. Donald A. Adam shared his vision for Miramont Country Club with us, I knew it was something so special that we wanted to be a part of it,” says Robert Trent Jones II, reflecting the club's commitment to excellence since its 2005 opening.
