What Makes An Audubon Course

The Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses (ACSP) is an environmental education and certification program helping golf courses protect the environment and preserve the natural heritage of the game of golf. ACSP provides guidance to enhance natural areas and wildlife habitats that golf courses provide, improve efficiency, and minimize potentially harmful impacts of  operations, the program serves an important environmental role worldwide.

Designation as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary is awarded upon meeting environmental management standards in six areas. Achieving certification demonstrates leadership, commitment, and high standards of environmental management. Our dedication to environmental stewardship has been supported by Audubon International with the recognition of 25 of our courses with its  “Certified Sanctuary” designation.
