Built for the owner of the Singha Beer Company, Santiburi Golf Club is located in the hill country north of Bangkok, in the heart of Thailand's exotic Golden Triangle (Koh Samui). Widely considered among the best designed and conditioned courses in Thailand, Santiburi was also Chiang Rai's first golf course.

Santiburi Samui Country Club Course Description

Robert Trent Jones, Jr. says of Santiburi's 6,966-yard course, "The holes build in intensity and offer varying options to challenge all skill levels and ages. It is a very playable and memorable golf course from the middle and forward tees and offers a strict examination of your game from the back tees."

Risk-Reward Options

As on every course designed by Robert Trent Jones II, Santiburi Golf Club offers risk-reward options on most holes. Holes two, three and four, for example, play alongside an enormous lake with a curving and complex shoreline designed for its strategic value. The front nine also plays up and down through the low hills of Bang Bor. Golf Asia Magazine calls this nine "what could very well be the best front nine in Thailand." The back nine sweeps through a steep valley and finishes strongly beside a chain of three lakes. Sand and grass bunkers, trees, ample water, and sloping lies provide an abundance of golf challenges.

Features

Santiburi Golf Club features the beauty of coconut plantations and panoramic views of the Gulf of Thailand. It's wildly known as one of the most beautiful golf courses in Southeast Asia.
