Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final to return to Club de Golf Alcanada
The Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final supported by The R&A will take place at Club de Golf Alcanada for the third successive year when the end-of-season showpiece returns to the Balearic island in 2024.
The Alcúdia venue hosted the Road to Mallorca finale for the third time last week having successfully staged the event in 2019 and 2022, and the European Challenge Tour will return to the stunning coastal layout again next year in the second of an extended four-year agreement with the Federación Balear de Golf.
The Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final, which sees the top 45 on the Road to Mallorca Rankings battle it out for one of 20 life-changing DP World Tour cards, was broadcast live around the world for the second consecutive year last week as _ claimed victory in Mallorca.
Club de Golf Alcanada, named after the nearby island which is home to the area’s iconic lighthouse, was designed by legendary course architect Robert Trent Jones Jr and opened for play in 2003. Rated by many as the best golf course in Mallorca, Alcanada boasts world-class practice facilities and first-rate amenities, including the island’s only Toptracer-equipped driving range.
Jamie Hodges, Challenge Tour Director, said: “We are delighted to announce The Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final supported by The R&A will return to Club de Golf Alcanada for the fourth time next year.
